Providing adults affected by acquired brain injury support across Worcestershire

About Us

Headway Worcestershire is a local and independent charity providing adults affected by acquired brain injury support across Worcestershire. We offer specialist support, information and services to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.

Our vision is to recognise that every brain injury affects different people in different ways. We understand that each person is unique and tailor our support to meet their needs and circumstances. Our aim is to help people achieve their goals and enjoy a quality of life, consistent with their desires and interests. Building a community where people with a brain injury are valued respected and able to live a fulfilling life, while campaigning for greater public awareness and a better understanding of the impact of brain injury.

Client Stories

For those who have a brain injury or someone you know has a brain injury, it can be comforting to understand the experiences of others so you feel you are not alone. Here you will find the personal experiences of life after brain injury from the perspective of our clients.

Fundraising

We need to raise around £100,000 each year to maintain our services, expand existing provision and pilot new initiatives. Headway Worcestershire could not operate without the generous support of our fundraisers, donors and volunteers, to whom we are so grateful.
