Why we need your help

Headway Worcestershire is a not-for-profit registered charity dedicated to supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABIs). We rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and fundraising efforts to secure the essential funds needed to provide our vital services. If you’re able to contribute—whether as an individual, a business, or through fundraising initiatives—we would be deeply grateful for your support.

Every person with a brain injury deserves the opportunity to live a purposeful, happy life. Every donation we receive—big or small—makes a real difference to our clients. Each year, we estimate that around 1,000 people in Worcestershire will sustain a brain injury, and it’s your generosity that allows us to provide the care and support they vitally need.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT TRANSFORMS LIVES

Outreach Services – Delivered directly to clients in their own homes, offering one-to-one, person-centred care and support.

Wellbeing Centres – Welcoming spaces where individuals with ABI's can receive mental wellbeing support, connect with others, and regain confidence through activities such as:

- Learning new skills like woodwork or art
- Participating in Mindfulness sessions to discover effective coping strategies
- Forming meaningful friendships with others who share similar experiences

Play the Worcester Community Lottery

Worcester Community Lottery is an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Worcester. All good causes supported by the lottery will benefit our city and its residents. Play the lottery and support Headway Worcestershire – it’s that simple!

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week, with 50% being donated to us. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!

Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT! It could be you!!

Make us as a beneficiary in your will

Partnering with Kwil we are offering you the chance to write your will for free. A will is the only way to ensure your money, property, investments and possessions go to the people and causes you care about.

Whilst there is no obligation to leave Headway Worcestershire a gift in your will, we hope that after having made provisions for your loved ones, you will also consider leaving a percentage to Headway Worcestershire.

Anything left to Headway Worcestershire will be exempt from Inheritance Tax and will help the charity build a community where people with a brain injury are valued respected and able to live a fulfilling life, while campaigning for greater public awareness and a better understanding of the impact of brain injury.
