The Alma Tavern

On the outskirts of the beautiful city of Worcester, the Alma Tavern sits on the Droitwich Road opposite the impressive St Stephen's Church. A short walk from the Worcester & Birmingham Canal and a stone’s throw from the popular Gheluvelt Park, this family friendly Pub Restaurant is a mile or so from the historic Worcester city centre and cathedral.

The Alma Tavern have supported us here at Headway Worcestershire, since April 2024, with a Charity quiz night, which is now weekly! It doesn’t stop there, Jon and Will are constantly introducing new fundraising

Anja Potze Fine Jewellery

Anja began this incredible jewellery journey back in 1994, and what an adventure it’s been! From small cabinets in a cozy ladies’ clothing store to now having the privilege of welcoming you into her beautiful boutique at 10 Friar Street, it’s been a truly amazing ride. Along the way, she’s been fortunate to receive some very special recognition, including the ‘Heart of Gold’ award in 2017, and more recently, being ‘Highly Commended’ at the National Retail Jeweller Awards in 2023.

With years of experience in Certified Diamonds, Fine Pearls, and precious Gemstones, our wonderful team— Jess, Lauren, Tilly—and I are all here to offer you a truly personal and memorable shopping experience. We believe that every piece of jewellery should tell a story, and we’re here to help make yours unforgettable. We not only sell Jewellery but also create special pieces. Our bespoke service is designed to help customers transform cherished pieces of jewellery, giving new life to meaningful heirlooms. Or create something entirely unique, bringing your individual style and creativity to life.
"We are incredibly proud to sponsor Headway, a cause that holds a very special place in our hearts. This charity is especially meaningful to us, as Headway’s support has been wonderful to Jess’s family following her Father's stroke. Our team feel honoured to be part of such an important mission. The work Headway does to support those affected by brain injuries is truly invaluable, and we’re grateful to contribute in any way we can."

We're thrilled to announce that Headway Worcestershire will be Ombersley Golf Club's Charity of the Year for 2025!

We were approached by Dan at the end of 2024, and we were immediately inspired by their mission to support people affected by brain injury.

Throughout the year, we'll be hosting a variety of fundraising events and activities to support Headway Worcestershire.

Together, we can make a difference.

WRXY Radio

WRXY Radio was created to serve the local communities of Worcestershire. From Hagley Hall to Eldersfield and Honeybourne to Tenbury Wells.

They are committed to supporting as many community projects from around our great county as possible. Maybe not financially, but by raising the profile to the community in general, and to local businesses. We can do this not only via our website but also by dedicating our shows to a specific community project.

We first spoke to Paul & Max back in August 2024 and they immediately wanted to help us by adding us as one of their Charities of The Year.

The Berkeley Arms

Beverley Walton became the Landlady of The Berkeley Arms in July 2020 after retiring as a mental health nurse in the NHS. Her ethos is all about being part of the community and trying to support local charities, one of which is Headway Worcestershire! They hold various quizzes on the first Thursday of the month, have three darts teams, one being the first ladies darts team, ‘The Berkeley Belles’ to join the league.

Other popular events held at The Berkeley Arms are; Tuesday Knit & Natter, and guitar jammers on Wednesday. At the weekend, Beverley supports local musicians by putting on live music and provide their own Disco/Karaoke along with letting out a free function room for the community to use. If that’s not enough, they have a wonderful outside space with covered seating.

The Feathers Sports & Music Lounge

The Feathers Sports & Music Lounge, is a popular pub in Worcester City, who are passionate about fundraising and supporting local charities.

Choosing Headway Worcestershire as their Charity of The Year in August 2024, so far they have held several fundraising events for us and we are looking forward to working with them in 2025.
