We’re putting a shout out to the local community, appealing for help!

Headway Worcestershire seek new members to join the current team in supporting and improving life for adults with ABIs.

Mandie Fitzgerald, Chief Executive, says:

“We’re always on the lookout for new volunteers and would welcome any interest. We also have two paid roles for those who would like to join us as a Support/Care Worker and a Wellbeing Service Care and Support Worker. It’s a really rewarding place to work and we would love to see some new faces to help us to improve the lives of those who need our care.”

Feedback for Headway Worcestershire’s support workers is exceptional, one recent review shared on Facebook said:

“I would just like to praise a member of your staff. I was shopping in Sainsbury’s at St John’s, Worcester and a young lad wearing a Headway Worcestershire lanyard was accompanying a man whilst he was doing his shopping. How he spoke and treated the man was amazing, spot on… I work for the NHS and I know how important it is to be appreciated and I hope this lad knows he is doing a great job and I, for one, am extremely grateful.”

If you’d like to join the amazing team at Headway, Worcestershire please find details for each role on our website (currently under our news section) or contact the team on: 01905 729729 or email: enquiries@hwtl.org.uk.

  1. Good Morning,

We saw your post appealing for new team members. I’d welcome a discussion in ways we could assist as a company. Could someone please call me at your earliest convenience to discuss needs and explore ways in which the team could assist? I know some of the team are involved with other headway groups, however we’re based locally and have plenty of team members who would be happy to get involved.

    Kind Regards
