I have to drop out of the challenge/I have not fund-raised the pledged amount.
If you have to drop out or have not raised the pledged amount before the day of the event you will be require to complete a payment that covers the expenses the charity has paid for your spot.
Why do I have to pledge to fund-raise?
One place costs us approximately £130 per participant, making the rest of the pledge pure donations for our local charity. The money you fund-raise will not only help us in our mission to improve life after brain injury, but it can also help you get better quality food, sleep or other perks during your challenge. The highest fundraiser or group will benefit of these perks, so it’s in your own interest to increase your fundraising efforts!
Can I not pay the entire cost of the ticket?
Unfortunately running charitable activities means that we need further funding to ensure the people affected by brain injury receive the services we provide. Your fundraising is what will help us achieve our charitable goals and we cannot accept just the full cost of the ticket.
What happens if I do not fund-raise the pledged amount?
You will be given fundraising support from our Headway all the way through, to ensure that doesn’t happen. If for some reason the target is not achieved, we will be in touch with you. We reserve the right to offer your space to another participant.
How will I pay?
Your initial payment of £30 will be via bank transfer or via cheque. The details can be found on the Registration form.
