Care / Support Workers

Headway Worcestershire – Worcester

Care / Support Workers
Headway Worcestershire

Headway Worcestershire is an independent local charity which works to improve the lives of those affected by brain injury. Due to the ongoing development of our services we have new positions available for professional and caring individuals.

We have positions for:

You will be based in one of our teams covering either WORCESTER and surrounding villages, EVESHAM and surrounding villages, MALVERN and surrounding villages or NORTH WORCESTERSHIRE (Kidderminster, Stourport, Bromsgrove and Redditch and surrounding villages).

The type of support we offer is very individual to each service user. Some require encouragement to re-learn daily living skills like cooking and budgeting, others need assistance with personal care tasks. You must own a car and be insured to use it for work. Successful applicants will have access to great training, a company pension scheme, mileage allowance and a generous holiday entitlement.

We are eager to hear from anyone who has an interest in acquired brain injury – experience of working with brain injury is desirable but not essential as training will be provided – a caring attitude is more important.
